Rainmakers Announces Expansion Plans for 2008
New Events to be held in Westfield, Kokomo, Columbus, and
Southwest Indiana
INDIANAPOLIS, IN: January 29, 2008 - Rainmakers, Indianapolis’
fastest growing networking organization, announced today its first
quarter expansion plans for 2008. Currently with 20 monthly events
in central and northern Indiana, Rainmakers will be holding new
events in Westfield, Kokomo, Columbus, and Southwest Indiana.
“This will be an exciting Quarter for Rainmakers,” said
Rainmakers’ President, Lorraine Ball. “Every time we add a hub we
get requests from the communities beyond our boarders to bring
Rainmakers to them as well. Each of these hubs is being launched as
a response to community demand.”
These new hubs will create new outlets for our more than 1200
Rainmakers members to meet, great, and grow.
The following individuals have been named as chairman at these
newly added Rainmakers events. Each will be responsible for
establishing a board consisting of 15-20 members that will support
these new events.

About Jennifer Foster: Jennifer Foster is a former CFO who
started her own bookkeeping and accounting service targeting small
businesses on the north side of Indianapolis (including Carmel,
Westfield, Noblesville and Fishers.)
Foster has a BS in Accounting from Ball State University, an MBA
from Indiana Wesleyan University and has earned both the CMA
(Certified Managerial Accountant) and CFM (Certified Financial
Manager) certifications from the Institute of Managerial
Accountants.
Foster Results provides bookkeeping services along with part-time
controller and CFO services for businesses needing financial
direction.
About Jeff Wilcox: Jeff Wilcox co-owns A2Z Promotions with his
wife Linda. For 10 years they have targeted small to medium sized
businesses through creative marketing solutions.
With 13 years experience in radio and 11 years in corporate
retail, Jeff has an excellent understanding of the challenges faced
by small and medium sized businesses in central Indiana.
Active in the local community Jeff is a member of Rainmakers and
Christ the Savior Lutheran Church.
About Tim Dixon: Principal of Apex Consulting, Tim Dixon has over
27 years of progressive senior level business experience. Dixon is
an advisor working directly with small business owners and has
received accreditation from the Institute for Independent Business (IIB).
Before founding Apex, Dixon lived in Texas and owned a portfolio
of businesses in the construction industry. Prior to that he held
executive positions in two Silicon Valley start-ups, managed
divisions in Fortune 500 corporations and led the development of
highly successful networking products. Along with multiple
international assignments during his career, he holds both
international and U.S. patents. Dixon began his career as an
electrical engineer working for AT&T in Indianapolis.
He received his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering
from Purdue University and studied for a Masters in Business
Administration at Auburn University.
About Mark McNulty: With 20 years experience as a business
executive, Mark McNulty is a Certified Master Business Coach with ActionCOACH. He has been a recipient of the Indiana/Southern Ohio
Action Man Award in 2004 and 2006 and the 2005 Most Improved Coach.
In 2007, Mark was recognized on a broader scale with a Global Action
Man Award and the Indiana/Southern Ohio Team Player Award.
McNulty is committed to serving his community by volunteering as
a fire-fighter and participating as the Assistant Chief and
Treasurer of the Harrison Township Volunteer Fire Company.
McNulty holds a BSEE from University of Notre Dame.
Born in Chicago, Mark has lived in Indiana for over 20 years, the
last 20 with his wife Maureen and daughter Jessica.
About Steve Scalph: An experienced project manager, Steve Scalph
is co-owner with his wife Diana of Sign Here Ltd. Since 1999, Sign
Here has been serving central Indiana with a variety of signs,
vehicle graphics and banners. Scalph is an active member of
Rainmakers, Sign Biz Advisory Board, Indiana Apartment Association,
Future Millionaires of Indiana Investors Group, and ITEX Barter
Group.
After retiring from the US Air Force, Scalph joined the RCA
Service Company as a field technician working in satellite
manufacturing and testing. He completed his 18 year career with the
service company as a Project Manager for the US Postal Service
Electronic Repair Depot here in Indianapolis.
After 19 moves since his marriage, Scalph now calls Mooresville
his home.
Steve Scalph studied Electronic Technology at the Community
College of the Air Force and has a BS in Management from California
Coast University.
