INDIANAPOLIS, IN:  June 16, 2008 – Rainmakers Marketing Association appointed Andy Davis of Cornerstone Financial Group as the Chairman of the advisory board for the Terre Haute hub on June 1st. In this role he will provide direction and coordination of the Terre Haute activities as well as provide advice and feedback to the Rainmaker management team. This is a re-launch for Terre Haute, which has been without lead for 6 months.

“Rainmakers is eager to revive the Terre Haute hub and will be supporting Andy in all his efforts,” said Tony Scelzo, founder of Rainmakers. “As an organization we have grown when we connect with people with Andy’s drive and persistence. We are looking forward to expanding our presence and contributing to the local economic development in Terra Haute.”

Davis is supported by an advisory board of Terre Haute chapter members including Mark Lorenzano, Bob Flott, Vicki Roberts, Doug Edge, Jeff McCollough, Jane Rowe, Tim Dixon, JR Wilson, and John Gifford. The board meets regularly through the month and is also working on informal one-on-one meetings with all chapter members.

The official re-launch will be Wednesday, June 25 from 11:30 – 1:00 at the MCL at 3 Meadows Shopping Center on 3 Meadows Lane. Monthly meetings will be held the 4th Wednesday of each month from 11:30 a.m. -1 p.m. Go to www.gorainmakers.com for more information.

ABOUT ANDY DAVIS: Former teacher and assistant principal, Andrew Davis got into investments in 2001 at Edward Jones Terre Haute before starting his own independent Financial Consulting firm, Cornerstone Financial Group. He received his bachelor’s degree from Harding University

Raised in Barrow, Alaska Davis has lived in Arkansas, Oregon, Indiana and Alaska.

Davis is active in the Lion’s Club of Worthington, a Den leader for the local Webelos and a Deacon at his church. He took on a few coaching jobs during his teaching stint and was the athletic director in Barrow.
