Noblesville, IN: June 19, 2008 – Today OneDegreeConnected.com (ODC) announced the new release of their public Beta. ODC is a tool that helps professionals leverage their business contacts. ODC’s focus is to help translate on-line connections, into real-world referrals.

“OneDegreeConnected is not a social networking site,” pointed out founder Howard Bienstock. “It’s a web-based tool that helps serious professionals earn personal referrals.” ODC helps users search for other members who are only “one degree” away from the people users need to meet.

Bienstock’s vision for ODC was to pick up where so many other social networking sites fall short. “Most social networks allow other users to see your ‘friends’ and ‘contacts.’ OneDegreeConnected is permission-based. You have to ask other users for introductions. Your professional database is never left exposed.”
