Industry Professionals Host Seniors University Series
″Putting Your House in Order – Helpful Tips Every Senior Should
Know″ to be held at the Plainfield Parks and Recreation Center
on April 15
INDIANAPOLIS, IN: March 17, 2008 – Local experts are
presenting the first of a series titled Seniors University. The
Spring 2008 Workshop, Putting Your House in Order – Helpful Tips
Every Senior Should Know, will be held at the Plainfield Parks and
Recreation Center on April 15, 2008, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.

Inventory, LLC and Wachovia Securities, the topics presented will
include:
h Planning your funeral arrangements
h Organizing your personal documents
h Recording your personal property
h Assessing your financial portfolio
Moderated by Carlotta Katra, President of Aging Avenues, the
casual but informative panel discussion will guide seniors and their
adult children through this difficult maze of comprehensive life
planning.
About the presenters:
Barb Milton, Vice President of Buchanan Group, Inc., is a nationally
recognized speaker on final expense planning. She is a Certified
Celebrant, Cremationist and Cemeterian. Her holistic approach
provides a relaxed open forum for strategizing and organizing a
family’s end of life decisions.
Val Steffen, Partner, My Will Power, LLC. Ms. Steffen will share
her experiences as an Executor and give useful information about how
you can empower your representative to act on your behalf after a
catastrophic event.
Cindy Hartman, President of Hartman Inventory, LLC, an
established leader in the field of asset documentation, will give
tips on how to create your personal property inventory. This
information assists with financial and estate planning, plus
maximizing insurance claims in the event of a disaster.
