Express Personnel Services Announces New Name
Refocused Brand "Express Employment Professionals" Reflects
Company's Service Lines and Future Direction Better
Indianapolis, IN: March 28, 2008 – Express Personnel Services is
changing its name to Express Employment Professionals, according to
Dave Kehlor, local Express franchise owner on the Westside of Indy.
The company made the decision to refocus its branding efforts in
order to better reflect its service lines and direction for the
future. The new name and logo will be official on March 31st. Kehlor,
who is also the Central Indiana Area Developer for Express, said
that the company had outgrown the Express Personnel Services name,
its previous brand. “Our new name allows us to look toward the
future, we’re confident that this move will enable us to provide
more comprehensive employment solutions to a greater number of
businesses and individuals.”
The new name allows all of the Express services, including its HR
and payroll services, to fit under the Express Employment
Professionals umbrella. In addition to providing a fresh look with
its new logo, the new name will also serve a practical purpose –
more people may be able to locate Express when they are looking for
a job placement service. Hamilton County franchise owner, Lee
Wenninger stated that the term “personnel” was an out dated term
that most job seekers rarely use today. “Today’s job seekers are
more internet savvy and use different key words in their search. Job
seekers are using the internet more often in their job search today”
said Wenninger.
“I’m excited about our new name and branding strategy,” said Todd
Williams, the owner of the Express Eastside location. “This is a
positive change that demonstrates our commitment to providing our
clients and associates with full-service employment solutions. In
addition to helping our clients hire good people, we provide a
variety of additional employment and human resource services to our
clients like our HR Hotline, employee handbooks and leadership
training.”
Job placement services are often stereotyped as providers of just
temporary employment, and while Express still offers these services,
the company wants to change that perception. “Yes we provide the
community with industrial jobs, but we also place people into
skilled trades, office services and professional jobs”, said Mike
Heffner, the owner of the Southside location in Greenwood. “We are a
total employment resource to the local community, helping companies
grow their business and assist people with finding the best jobs”,
he said
Along with the name change, Express also has a new logo and web
address – www.expresspros.com. For more information or to access the

Express began in Indianapolis with the opening of the Westside
office owned by Dave Kehlor 13 years ago. They now have 6 locations
in the metro Indy area and service the 8 surrounding counties. They
have specialized in helping local companies find full-time and
temporary employees in a variety of fields including office
services, customer service, skilled light industrial and
professional. In the last two years, the IBJ has ranked them as the
largest locally owned staffing company in the Indianapolis
marketplace.
With 600 offices in four countries, Express employs 350,000 people
each year. Sales for the Oklahoma City-based company totaled $1.8
billion in 2007. Express is ranked as the nation’s fifth-largest
staffing company. Express provides expertise in evaluation and
direct hire, temporary staffing, executive recruiting and human
resources.
