INDIANAPOLIS, IN:  May 1, 2008 - Rainmakers, Indianapolis’ fastest growing business association, announced today the addition of a new Kokomo hub and advisory board. The Kokomo event will be the first to launch in the community, to accommodate the extensive growth of Rainmakers.

Led by Jeff Wilcox of a2z Promotions, the new Kokomo advisory board members will serve a two-year term, providing advice and feedback to the management team. In addition, they will be responsible for involving guests and new members in the organization and building awareness in the local community.

“This will be an exciting addition for Rainmakers,” said Rainmakers’ President, Lorraine Ball. “Every time we add a hub we get requests from the communities beyond our boarders to bring Rainmakers to them as well. Rainmakers Kokomo is being launched as a response to community demand.”

The advisory board represents the broad range of industries which reflect Rainmakers’ general membership. Advisory board members include Jerry Renkenberger, Marketing Mercenary/Affordable Virtual; Charlotte Holaday, Aflac; Larry Embling, Liberty Financial; Desiree Reynolds, Healthy Habits Institute Co.; Mike Dunn, Triple Point; TJ Byers, Button Dodge; Hattie Grimes, Spotlight Indianapolis; Brian Arnold, Crossroads Companies; Ronda Eastman, Kokomo/Howard County Chamber of Commerce; Jeff Wilcox, a2z Promotions.

The new Kokomo advisory board will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the Kokomo event to be held the first Tuesday of every month from 7:30 – 9:00 a.m. The inaugural meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 6th at Half Moon Restaurant & Brewery 4051 S. Lafountain St., Kokomo, IN 46902. Participants will be notified via email, and location information will always be included on our Web site.
