INDIANAPOLIS, IN:  May 2, 2008 - Business Networking International (BNI), the largest business networking group in the world, recognized Dr. Jeremy Ciano of RevolutionEyes in Carmel as the Indiana Member of the Year.

“Dr. Ciano is a long-time BNI member,” Hazel Walker, Executive Director for BNI Central Indiana. “From among the more than 1,100 members in Indiana Jeremy was nominated by his peers for this award because he truly understands the “Givers Gain Mentality”. We are truly excited to recognize all of his hard work.”

Dr. Ciano is a 5th year member of the Network Masters Chapter in central Indiana. One of only three optometrists in the Indiana BNI network, Dr. Ciano opened up his own practice, RevolutionEyes, just over six months ago with the help of many of his fellow BNI members. From the construction and signage, to the computers, marketing, and promotional items, Dr. Ciano relied heavily on his fellow members for the successful launch of his facility in the Clay Terrace Shopping Center.

About Dr. Ciano:
Dr. Ciano graduated from Kings College in Wilkes-Barre, PA as an Academic All-American with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. He earned his doctorate and second bachelors’ degrees from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, PA.

He has been honored as one of the top 100 Optometrist in the U.S. by the Consumers Research Council of America. He has also been ranked as the #1 Bifocal Contact Lens Prescribing Doctor in Central Indiana by Bausch & Lomb.

Active in his professional legislature, Dr. Ciano is a member of the American Optometric Association, Contact Lens and Cornea Association and the Indiana Optometric Association. He is also a member of Rainmakers and currently serves on the Carmel AM advisory board.
