I write this e-mail with a heavy heart. One of ours has passed to a better place. Greg Knotek died yesterday. He was one of first 75 members of Rainmakers.

Being a Michigan State graduate. It is really hard for me to admit how much I like this great college anthem. It reminds me how important it is to be a victor not a victim.

Rainmakers understand the value of grouped strategic relationships and how they can impact your business?
The basic premise is it is more cost effective to win the favor of influencers in a buying decision that effect a larger group than it is to market to them one by one.

What if there was a place where small businesses could go to learn how to become big businesses?
A place where unique experts could find their unique audiences? A place where members can get continuing education, content experts can connect w/ new potential clients and larger businesses can get exposed to the rainmaker culture and learn the great extent of our talent and expertise.
We have the opportunity to create a training grow where small businesses can be not so small or where the good can become great.

I was coaching a friend of mine embroiled in a legal dispute. These are never fun and usually messy. Take into an account both parties think they are justified. (Although some peoples grip of reality seem to very close to prolonged escapade on a hallucinogen.)
It is amazing to me how spending time and energy focused on striking forth in a new direction (or the old direction) rather then striking out towards the opposing party can relieve tension and anxiety.

Scribbles on napkins, sticky notes stuck to your monitor and even leaving yourself a voice mail. Come on, we've all used at least one of these methods to help us remember something we need to do. Isn't it time you started using a better approach to organizing your to-do list?
